The San Diego Organizing Project honored James F. Mulvaney with its Lifetime Achievement Award during our 30th Anniversary Gala.  Mr. Mulvaney's accomplishments are numerous, his contributions to the city of San Diego many, and his assistance to SDOP as co-chair of our Advisory Committee invaluable.  In his honor, SDOP created the James F. Mulvaney Community Achievement Award, a recognition that will be given to those individuals who exemplify community leadership in San Diego.  Our first winners of the James F. Mulvaney Award are Gloria Cooper, a 16-year veteran SDOP leader, and Stephanie Gut, SDOP's former Executive Director.

Three decades of improving San Diego communities, the San Diego Organizing Project celebrates its 30 years through the stories of its leaders...leaders who have helped transform San Diego as their own lives have been transformed in the process.
